course includes a computer, internet access, and the use
of software you need to get your website up and running.
By the end of the program you will have a website and a long-term
marketing strategy in place.

will be held on Sunday's from 12 noon
to 3:00 p.m. Dates based on enrollment - enroll early. Here is

Your Website / Blog (Part 1)
Learn how to select and secure a domain name. Set up hosting
and choose from a 3,000 - 5,000 website library of website templates.
Learn about the great CMS (Content Management System) in: WebSite
Tonight®, WordPress, and Joomla. Customize a web site
or blog template using the CMS and make it your own.
Develop
Your Site & Unique Brand (Part 2)
Develop your business website content for your niche and search
engines. Learn how to add links and other media to your website.
Discover how to buy and use stock photography. Use simple tricks
in Photoshop to make custom graphics. Go live with your site.
For new students the February 22 class is required. No prerequisite
for alumni clients*. Next date to be determined.
Smart
Online Marketing
Best practices in online marketing, including successful e-mail
campaigns. Make sense of blogs, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter,
and other social media so they work best for you. Learn which
web strategies will strengthen and build your business without
wasting time. Take advantage of free or low cost tools.
Appreciation
Marketing Strategies
April 5, 2009 - Now that you have a website, increase your exposure
and drive traffic to your business. Find the easiest ways to
post your new URL. Learn what appreciation marketing means and
why it will bring business to you. Use a free account to make
a customized note card. Build your online profile and increase
your Search Engine ranking.
